Description

Château Mayne-Vieil · AOC Fronsac

Merlot-dominant, from 35-year-old vines planted on quite steep slopes of clay and silt. The vines are trained low and planted densely to keep yields in check. Ageing is split between 85% in concrete tank and 15% in oak barrel, and the wine does not leave the estate for at least three years.
