The winery

Frontaura

Winery in Toro (Zamora). It works old-vine Tinta de Toro, some of it century-old, mainly in the Pago de Valdelacasa in Villabuena del Puente, on sandy-loam and clay-loam soils. Ageing is always in new French Allier oak, from 8 to 20 months depending on the wine. It also makes Verdejo in the Rueda DO, in the Pago de la Erilla (La Seca), with nine months in barrel.
