Description

Les Cousins · DOQ Priorat

A blend of Macabeo (40%), white Grenache (35%), white Picapoll (20%) and Pedro Ximénez (5%), from old vines around Porrera planted on llicorella slate. The winery

Les Cousins

Project of cousins Marc and Adrià Pérez, founded in 2007 in Porrera, in the DOQ Priorat. Both come from Mas Martinet and have worked in Bordeaux, the Rhône and South Africa. They work with the growers of the Porrera cooperative, using old Carignan and Grenache vines planted on llicorella slate. They set out to make fresher, less extracted wines than classic Priorat, meant to be drunk earlier and at a more moderate price.
