Description

Terres Plurielles · AOP Tautavel

A red of Grenache Noir (60%), Syrah (30%) and Carignan (10%) from old vines in the Tautavel valley, on clay-limestone soils. Part of the wine is aged in oak barrels and the rest is kept in tank. It is the winery’s parcel selection and its benchmark for keeping. 14.5% vol.

The winery

Terres Plurielles

Cooperative winery based in Tautavel (Pyrénées-Orientales), created in 2010 by the merger of the cooperatives of the Tautavel and Vingrau valleys. It brings together a large share of the area’s growers and around 1,100 hectares of vines on clay-limestone soils. The range is built on parcel selections, with Carignan, Grenache Noir and Syrah for the reds and white and grey Grenache and Roussanne for the whites.
