The winery

MGWines Group

A family-run group from Alicante led by the Miñano family, which owns several wineries in the south-east of Spain. In Villena (DO Alicante) it runs Bodegas Sierra Salinas, founded in 2006 and added to the group in 2013: it works by gravity, without electric pumps, and its barrel room is underground. In Almansa it owns Bodegas Almanseñas (Venta la Vega), with 225 hectares of organic vineyards at the foot of the Sierra del Mugrón.
