Description

Cedó Anguera · DO Montsant

Young red from the Montsant DO made with Carignan, black Grenache and Syrah from vineyards farmed by the Cedó Anguera family in Serra d’Almos. Hand-harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with no oak, to keep the fruit front and centre.

The winery

Cedó Anguera

Family winery in Serra d’Almos, in the Montsant DO. The family sold its grapes to the cooperative until 2006, when they began making their own wine. They farm around 15 hectares in Serra d’Almos and Darmós, with Carignan and black Grenache as the main varieties and smaller plots of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Two ranges: Anexe, for young wines, and Clònic, for wines aged in barrel or amphora.
