Old-vine Grenache from DO Cariñena. The vines are around seventy years old and grow on slopes above 800 metres, on stony soils. The Marín family looks after about a hundred hectares of old-vine Garnacha, with low yields per vine. The result is a concentrated wine of 13.5% ABV.

Luis Marín

Family winery in Cariñena (Zaragoza), established as a bodega in 1903, with a winemaking tradition dating back to the early 19th century. The vineyards sit on slopes above 800 metres, on stony, low-fertility plots. The family keeps around a hundred hectares of old-vine Garnacha, worked for more than a century with low yields.
